NICHOLAS RAUSCHER ATTENDS AIA MISSOURIĀ
GRASSROOTS ADVOCACY DAY 2025
MARCH 2025: Nick joined delegates from each Missouri chapter of the American Institute of Architects in Jefferson City to learn about and advocate for the interests of the profession at the capitol.
"There are pressing issues for our profession and industry being discussed in Jefferson City. I am glad to have had the opportunity as a member of our chapter's board to attend and report back the importance of these bills."
-Nick Rauscher
Some of the most controversial bills in the Missouri Legislature this session concern building and energy codes. These issues will affect the state as a whole with a potential to increase the state's energy consumption and prevent the imposition of strengthened energy performance requirements.
"State level advocacy is so meaningful to our everyday life in this career. It's a place to make meaningful progress toward large-scale change. This opportunity to meet with state legislators and their staff was an incredible learning experience."
-Nick Rauscher, 2023
